Having experienced a lot of trauma throughout my childhood + adolescence I constantly found myself feeling lost + unsure of my own self, which took me down many more challenging paths in life.
Then one day in my early 20’s I woke up knowing I could + should feel better than I did. I took the traditional counselling route and found the process disempowering. I felt like I was being fed justification from my trauma to feel or behave in certain ways rather than strategies to overcome them. I found myself searching in many new places and practices for the way I wanted to feel, before landing in Yoga which in turn opened all the doors I’d desired taking my journey through endless self development.
Along my journey, I created a formula for self discovery, healing + self worth that has lead me to live a life that my younger self never knew was possible for me.
Yoga, mediation + my practices didn’t change my past, they gave me the coping strategies I needed to move forward in my life.
